Refreshing if anything. I cannot believe what the critics are saying about this film - it’s clear they are still trying to dumb down the population and have lost sight of what true art is. I was in tears the entire time. This film illustrates so beautifully not only what it’s like to be tormented by addiction, but how heartbreaking it is to love someone who has lost themself. There are so many themes and points to be made throughout - it truly is up to the viewer to decide if this is a science fiction movie or one about mental health. The best films do not explain themselves, and this one takes the cake!
