This show has really gone downhill. The music, scenery, set design and costumes remain incredible. But for the most part, I find that the acting is now somewhat stiff and mechanical. There are of course wonderful exceptions to this, most notably the final scene in the first episode. Too bad, as this show was something really special. I will keep watching though because I enjoyed the books and find it interesting how things get changed around for TV but still end up in the same place. And maybe as season 4 goes on, it will get better.
