So beautiful, the best feel good movie I've seen in ages. Brilliant concept, incredibly insightful, and joyous. I loved the story and the animation is amazing. I totally love it! Please ignore the negative reviews it's so good

So disappointing. The Ex-Cons, Michael Pená et al, weren’t just comic relief they were a brilliant narrative tool and seriously funny. Big, BIG mistake. The movie was completely lacking in charm, familial or otherwise. Just tired tropes, unimaginative characters and settings. The film makers cannot seem to think outside of our universe and it shows. I watched it in 3d in a beautiful brand new theatre and couldn’t wait to leave. What a shame! 1 was good, 2 was excellent, 3, boring yawnfest.
