First and foremost this is a regular masala movie nothing great, but lacks nativity, this Movie is set in Andhra Pradesh, but no trace of Telugu can be seen, all the people in the place speak Hindi as good as native speakers, but the villains since they hail from Sri Lanka still communicate in Tamil. The makers are Telugu, director, producers and few actors, but did not bother to use Telugu in the movie, unlike other Hindi movies set in probably Tamilnadu, where the nativity is retained and presented in way making the movie watching experience special and different compared to regular Hindi movies, this movie didn't even had to be shot in Andhra, as there is zero flavor of Teluguness or Andhra. Overall lousy masala movie

By far best movie of the year, brilliant direction by Randeep Hooda, never expected this kind of masterpiece from Randeep, performances equally brilliant. Thanks to Randeep Hooda and team for making this epic movie, and Kudos to your efforts for uncovering not just Savarkar but other freedom fighters, great way of educating us about unknown, low profile freedom fighters whose sacrifices went unnoticed. This doesn't even feel like movie, seems as though the massacre of Kashmir Pandits is happening just in front of our eyes, while we stand hopeless and the Pandits helpless, the movie clearly shows why and how the genocide wasn't stopped, clearly the then Govts had role in this Genocide, more than the terrorists it was the Govts in state and center which are to be blamed for this exodus/genocide, looks like this genocide was sponsored by these govts. to wipe out Kashmiri Pandits. Watch The Kashmir Files if you haven't already watched, along with teenage kids, they need to understand why we can't be secular or liberal, we don't need to oppose any religion, but we need to be particular about our culture and traditions, and todays generation is more vulnerable to the brainwash that can turn them against their own country and people.

This movie doesn't live upto the expectations, as it has Yeleti Chandra Shekhar tag attached, who earlier delivered brilliant movies. The plot is loosely based on Shawshank Redemption, but poorly executed, unnecessary drama and action sequences make the movie further more unacceptable. One good thing about this movie is that dialogues were written in Telugu, the extra ⭐ is just for dialogues
