Two stars is generous. Typically cgi money grab. Stereotypical characters and plot that lacks any depth. Slightly better than the “alien vs predator “garbage movies but a far cry from the original alien. If you are looking to kill 2 hours on a drawn out “scfi suspense thriller “ with no substance , then look no further.

5 star reviews , “ what an incredible movie of self discovery “. 😴😴😴. If you want to watch a dreadfully dull film and kill almost 2 hours, this is the movie for you. Two stars just out of respect for Adam Sandler who I love and I won’t hold this movie against him. They all can’t be winners.

I truly can not believe that it has been renewed for a second season.

Underwhelming. I get what they were trying to do, and the movie had its moments but not very good for the most part. You can’t try and go dark and gritty with a pg-13 movie. Could have been great if it was an r- rated film which would have allowed the movie to actually have some teeth to it’s bite rather than coming up soft and corny.

Loved the opening scene but kinda went downhill from there. Wasn’t crazy about the new main character or his powers, kinda lame. I felt like they wasted a lot of time through the first half and then rushed the second half. Takes them forever to actually start training and then all of a sudden in two days they are able to defeat the greatest out realm warriors. I would have rather had them actually take the time to develop the charters with some depth and the story line with training and have it end leading to the tournament for the sequel instead of this free for all fighting that happens. Even if they kept the same format as they did, the least they could have done was actually spend some time developing the fight scenes with the characters instead of just rushing through them to the finishing moves. The last fight was probably the only one that lasted more than a minute. Overall. It was ok but I expected much more. Hopefully then can do better with the sequel.

Lack of character and plot depth. Very scripted and didn’t make much sense. The longer the movie went on, the harder it got to watch. I understand the “outside the box “ great reviews and the fact that most people just can’t understand so that’s why they don’t like it. However I figured out the entire the movie before it was revealed so I understood the concepts just fine, it just wasn’t a good movie. I just thought to much time was spent trying to go deeper and deeper into this time portal thing rather than actually developing characters and a worthy plot. Typical pg-13 action thriller with all the hype but no substance. Had a couple decent scenes but overall the movie was not that entertaining.
