This movie was such a trainwreck I had to go online to look this movie up, and here I am.
First 15 minutes had me skeptical with the extra long extended scenes of people walking to their car to the house and vice versa. It feels like they ran out of money about halfway and tried to finish on a shoestring budget while making the movie reach the 90 minute mark.
How were they having wine on the bridge in the middle of the day and the next scene is them walking into the house talking about what a great evening they had while she goes upstairs to sleep?
A nighttime scene is followed by a random shot of the dog walking across the street during the daylight.
The big Christmas party that was in the middle of the day with absolutely no music.
Belle getting out of the car and walks away from the house only to go to a shot of her walking into the house.
Just one janky movie that really goes south after you've already committed too much time watching it. We ended up enjoying pointing out all the horrible editing, acting, producing, storyline etc the final 45 minutes. We also think Haylie Duff didn't get much notice for her part in this movie or something cause she was really beefy and they tried hiding her weight unsuccessfully throughout the movie.
But if you enjoy piano music being played during the entire movie that is so loud that it makes the dialogue hard to follow this might be your movie!
Overall I don't think I have seen such a poorly executed movie in all facets. Not much to say positive about this movie other than the humor you may get from watching it. Heck we may watch it again just for laughs. I'm sure there is more we missed.
