Art is nice. That's all this show has going. Characters feel bland and unemotional. Feels like you cannot connect with them at all. There is usually 3 or 4 plots happening at once and you have no idea what is happening, then they get phased out and more come in and you still do not know what is going on. I understand the main villian in the series.. but what is his goal? Why does he do what he does? Same with Davion, main plotline needs major explaining. Show lacks a lot of depth in characters, music, writing, and especially sound effects. There was a scene where invoker used sunstrike and you heard nothing, or a time a dragon did a massive attack and was silent. If this is someone's first venture into anime, you might like it, and that is cool. For someone who has been watching anime both Japanese and English made this series is very lacking. Feels like blood of zues if anyone has ever watched it. You want a well done Netflix original animation series? Watch castlevania, it is 100x better. I do understand That dota dragons blood and castlevania are two different animes, BUT castlevania came first, dota creators had plenty of source and time to study and get ideas and learn what is needed to make a good animation, not only animations on netflix, but literally anywhere else. Very disappointed by the series, I only watch it to kill time. I only give it a two for the art, that is all. Consider my review, but make you're own decision. As long as you enjoy it, that's what counts
