I really enjoyed the production and acting in this, but by the fourth episode, the characters are all bad metaphors and expositional monologues. So it's disappointing to know such great actors had to deal with bad writing.

Yikes, this show is less than mediocre. Plot holes, expositional dialogue, bad acting and whoever was in charge of audio editing made some straaange choices...

Chaos for chaos's sake can be a great plot device. But there isn't enough structural story telling for it be used in a good way in this movie. You don't grow to like any of the characters and there isn't enough information on them to empathize in any way. What's the point? If it all just went from bad to worse-- why tell the story?

Touching story and (some) great acting, unfortunately the writing lacks subtlety and feels rigid and demonstrative. Much of the dialogue could have been replaced by cinematography or left out completely. I enjoyed the film but feel there was a missed opportunity in that it could have been fantastic if some adjustments had been made.

This show plays on every horrible cliché Americans have about Paris and the French in general. Bad writing, bad acting and a huge dose of ignoring reality leaves Paris seeming like a shiny vat of seductive people. I can't help but feel bad for people watching this, thinking there's anything to learn from it.
