The book was poorly written and over-hyped. The movie is even worse Thumbs down

Good special effects but that's about it. Most of the actors are definitely "B" movie caliber. Some laughably obvious blunders with costumes i.e. elastic in underwear, obviously machine sewn stitches, and jeans style pants complete with back pockets. However, the worst offense, in my opinion, is that the cast are speaking in 21st century idioms. This story is supposedly set in the equivalent of Earth's medieval period so why are the characters speaking like year 2021 teenagers? Disappointing to say the least.
