Great Script and acting, but a bit ridiculous, especially episode 1. With a body found at 10.30pm, we are supposed to believe the police got CCTV from local businesses somehow, identified a random kid, gathered all evidence and got the authority needed for a raid 8 hours later. No chance. A ridiculous OTT raid too with a dozen armed police considering it was a kid with a knife (who they never even handcuffed). Then in the space of 45 minutes he was processed completely, full medical, a duty solicitor showed up before 7am and the interview started. BS, that would all take hours. Nevertheless, the single shot work is amazing and works well.

Ignore the 5 star reviews from people who are obviously very easily pleased by any pig-swill. Richard Curtis is the writer of some of my favourite movies and comedy shows, so I am hoping someone must have found this script in his trash can and handed it to someone desperate to work, like Melissa McCarthy, and before you know it, we are served up this disaster. Please don't bother, just put on one of the other hundreds of better Christmas movies. It's nonsensical, mixed- message garbage. It gas a 31% Rotten Tomato rating for a reason - be warned.
