This might be the worst game ever. PS5 wont let you leave a review bc they know it'll be trash. The graphics are bad, the combat is fat and clunky, the world is a slow res version of a good game. The only thing that is fun is ship combat/travel and the game makes you wait hours to access it.

One of the worst games in the series. They tried to remake AC1 with NO success. The combat was clunky, even worse than Valhalla. I have been an apologist for the series since the first game and they finally broke me. The notoriety system was garbage. You can NEVER get rid of all notoriety. There was zero character development or growth. I was not invested at all. Took me 15 hours to beat it and I felt totally unfulfilled. Somehow they used the skeleton of Valhalla and made it WORSE. Parkour was almost unusable. I couldn't do the stealth options for any mission because the interface was trash. The soundtrack was terrible, the dialogue fell flat. Origins was a shining star, and the developers just haven't been able to capture that magic since. The story was written by a 7 year old who would rather have been outside playing. The map had zero heart. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE refer back to Origins. That was an absolute hit and for some reason we have strayed from that. Do not waste your money on this game. Wait until it is $20 or free on GamePass.
