With a exciting base plot and good actors, it could have been a decent thriller but the execution was too flimsy for it to create any impact. Too many plot holes, slow pace and predictable twists made it a boring watch. Add to that over the top dialogues, especially Amitabh's 10-minute long extended monologue and a bizzare ending took rest of it away. I felt Annu Kapoor too went overboard with his character both in his accent and demeanour. Badla (2019) was a much better take on a premise where the protagonist gets a confession out of a suspect. None of the actors in Chehre including Amitabh and Emraan could't leave a lasting impact, atleast for me.
