I think it's beautiful to look at and very atmospheric and Emma is a very good Emily with her slightly unconventional beauty. However I hate the fact that the film suggests Emily was inspired to write Wuthering Heights because of her love and the loss of William. Emily wrote from her vivid interior life and imagination.....she didn't need a man to galvanise her. She was known to have had no romantic entanglement and it's a real shame that the writer/director thought it necessary to include a love interest and couldn't let her stand on her own merits without adding a man into the mix.
