Watched the film at my local Empire Cinema. It is definitely a detective film, Batman is doing a lot of running around finding clues and getting closer to the plot. The action I found was start stop and the final battle was not as big as it could have been. Also the sound for exaplme when batman punched someone did not sound impactfull as seen on the trailers so I don't know if that is Empires sound system. Acting was good but could have been better, catwoman was believable. Because of Christopher Nolans universe Matt Reeves also changed the story of a lot of the characters background to in my opinion make the film differ from Nolans universe which I did not like however, it is a change which I think I was not expecting. Most importantly there is definitely room for improvement. Rob Pattinson plays a good BW, someone who is damaged by what happened. We are used to BW's who sort of recover or hide the pain of the loss of thier parents whereas Reeve has put an emphasis on that side which I liked. I wanted to give it 3.5 but the rating system does not allow. That being said I gave Batman begins a 4 star so I'm not being BIAS. 100% with the ticket money and I look forward to the next film. And one last thing for that fan boys, there are no post credit scenes but the is a little line that is relevant.
