(Mild spoilers, read at your own risk) Overly predictable. Felt like a slasher film, lots of hiding behind doors and jump scares. It's not so awful that you'll get up and leave, or turn it off. Just lame considering how amazing the rest of the movies are. This film is actually rated higher than the first one, but I actually enjoyed the first one much more. Much of the movie felt forced, there aren't any real transitions leading up to developments in the plot. The main characters just all of a sudden have the info the need. Also the entire movie seems mildly pointless because anyone that follows the series knows the whole time that Frenchie won't actually be saved because he appearsin the first conjuring film, at the Warren's lecture being exercised in the video (the first time Mrs.Warren sees Valek). So why didn't they tie them, and that exorcism with the Warrens, into this film? That would've been great. I did enjoy the bloodline thing tho, helped the plot tremendously.
