Where to start? Desiree Moore has a true gift for captivation. Her debut release “Untitled for Now” had me laughing, crying, outraged, and in awe! Ms Moore, delivers a protagonist in both present day and the past. Ms Moore gives the reader the behind the scenes, personal insight into Helen’s past; as modern day Helen struggles to recall her past, whilst hospitalized. The stuggles of our leading lady, Helen, are entirely relatable while all together the making of fiction. Some scenes feel as though you have stumbled upon moments not meant to be seen by others, while others are a time for celebration. Just when you think Helen couldn’t possibly come out on top, she finds her footing, only to slip and lose it yet again, but she is tenacious and doesn’t stop striving. Ms Moore, beautifully, blurred the line between autobiography and fiction, in her fictionalized account of her own life. It was a captivating read, a true page turner!
