I follow Hilaria on Instagram and loved the family life she portrayed. My daughter has five kids and they are SO funny and entertaining! I also had respect for her impressive yoga tips. I was looking forward to watching The Baldwins. If you’re shooting a reality show it is impossible to avoid addressing the elephant in the room. The show had to include the impact of the Rust shooting on the Baldwin family, although heartbreaking. My reasons for only giving the show one star are: 1) the disrespectful way that Hilaria treats Alec, interrupting him, contradicting him, thinking it’s funny to make him drive with 3 cats in the car when he is allergic to cats. She never shows him any respect. Constantly accusing him of having OCD simply when he straighten up the pile of shoes, etc.. 2) the way Hilaria does 85% of the talking, giving us HER thoughts on everything including Alec. I think Alec should be the focus equally 3) the not-so-subtle way that Hilaria is using this to showcase her figure in a cheap, cheesy way with close up shots of her short shorts and the constant cleavage displaying obvious implants The sad thing is that this show had the potential to be interesting and fun. I would have loved to see the family dynamics of raising seven kids with the chaos and love all around. If Hilaria showed some class she would be more likable. I liked her up until I watched this show. I still like him, and now I feel sorry for him going through life being treated this way. I’m glad he has the kids to bring him joy. Big disappointment!!

I love this show! I watched all the episodes of Season 1 in one day. Such a refreshing change from murder mysteries! I highly recommend this show. I love Bertie’s narration and his heart for the animals.
