A Rough Watch
The movie fails to deliver on almost every front. The outdated, seedy music sets a tone that clashes with any attempt at modern storytelling. The plot feels like a poorly rehashed version of countless others, lacking originality and depth.
The lead actor, though playing a tradesman, comes across as rough and unrefined, which feels inconsistent with his seemingly comfortable lifestyle. His performance is underwhelming, potentially limited by his inexperience in acting—it’s the first role I’ve seen him in, and it doesn’t leave a strong impression.
Despite an interesting theme, the execution falls flat, making it a waste of time. I only watched it out of curiosity, but it’s as others have said: the story is tired, and the movie is a missed opportunity
