A truly awful film. From the direction to the acting to the writing to the set design. The worst film of 2025 so far and one of the worst I’ve seen ever. The only reason it gets 2 stars is that it was entertaining to point and laugh at the flaws. The main character’s daughter spoke and acted like an adult, which was all sorts of off-putting. At the end of the film, upon seeing her father return alive, her exact words are, “oh hey dad, it’s you.” In the most deadpan voice you will ever hear. This is the perfect movie for those who love bad media.

It would appear that the “critics” on rotten tomatoes don’t know how to finish a film. Most of the criticisms they give would have been resolved if they watched it the whole way through, without getting into spoilers. It’s a heartwarming film based on a true story, a fact which seems to be lost on these people. It focuses heavily on a theme of redemption which many will find inspiring. Ignore the critics on this one.

A lot of people seem to think that this movie’s intention was to argue that trans people are bad. This is not true. If they watched any daily wire content dealing with transgenderism, they would find that they are perfectly willing to accept trans people, they just don’t want radical ideologies to be push upon children. This is a perfectly fair thing to wish for. Now, on to the point of this film. Their intention was not to bully trans people, it was to prove a point, that point being that no one knows what they are talking about. This film was meant to call out supposed “experts” in gender ideology for pretending to be qualified when, in reality, they do not even know what a woman is.

I just read a review talking about trans acceptance in this show. I don’t remember anything about that, but there were some major toxic feminism themes. This show is definitely just as woke as everything else Disney is pumping out right now. However, that’s not why I’m giving one star. The reason this show gets one star is the fight scene at the end of episode one. Watch it and you will know what I mean.

I truly do not know how this show received any critical acclaim. It wasn’t that bad, but it was boring. I couldn’t really connect well with the story. It’s not the actors/actresses fault, actually the actress playing Kamala khan did very well. The writing is just bland. This show certainly did not deserve the 98% it got on rotten tomatoes. Still, it’s watchable just very overrated.
