Gripping & quite a storytelling documentary. I've definitely heard this case & I can tell you, as much as this documentary was a bit gruesome to some watchers, nothing could prepare them for the actual truth which is far more harrowing & grotesque. This is quite similar to Ted Bundy, the only reason he got this far & this much victims, because the authorities, the society & family did nothing to stop him. I can understand the kasturba community. The people are extremely poor & some already in verge of starvation. Most of them didn't receive any formal education or are they surrounded with opportunity to take developed themselves & the society. It's shocking that one of them who grew up in such unfortunate society rather than empathising with their situation, he instead choose actively to be a thief, dacoit, rapist, & murderer. He chosen to terrorise the people especially women who lives there in an impoverished state & the police was with him in all step of the way. Once a place legal systems fails anyone, many fail to realise that it causes a great miscarriage of justice that in turn causes a ripple in natural system. It's not shocking to me, the human being who turned into a devil terrorising the society fell to his demise in a courtroom full of supposedly legal authorities & legal officers. The documentary had successfully showed the real meaning of poetic justice that was basis of this case.
