Terminator Zero is one of the most gripping animes based on an IP. Now, don't come to watch this expecting the Terminator story as you know it from the movies- it's a new story based on the ideas and themes of the Terminator stories. This series was short and sweet, keeping me engaged throughout ever episode. The Terminators were menacing and actually felt like a horrifying threat, rather than just an unkillable enemy. And the action and violence were superb! I personally enjoyed the story, but I know some might think it's "woke." But if you've ever enjoyed franchises like Metal Gear where the nature of the series is war and violence, but the undertone is about how war and violence isn't the answer, then you'll enjoy this story as well. Overall, I loved this series, and I really hope they make a season two!
