I know this is a late review and I didn't like it and was disappointed. These were my thoughts 1. Poor acting all mediocre and not enough substance. It felt the character and script needed more dialect and not one liner and actors felt stiff.. 2. Some scenes like the rainforest looked like it was they were in the Amazon. It's suppose take place in distance planet and plants weren't different these plants were like in my own backyard and didn't make an effort to more creative but..hey lets use earth has a backdrop.... 3. The Sniffer is a person in a costume and could have used different creatures that looked different and not a two legget who can detect the smell while standing up right. 4. Osha and Mae plus Jecki Lon all needed work on the makeup and hair look didn't nothing like the future but everyday life. Jecki Lon had color streaks across her face with mini horns wasn't impressive. It's like the production didn't want to use creative ideas for the characters to look apart. It's not just them...even the evil dark The Stranger, his helmet didn't look cool and looked like Darth Vader like.. 5. The fighting scenes were not dramatic and very typical old Star Wars days.... One lightsaber to another. It's like watching a person directing a plane to park. Overall it was bad. I watched all of the episodes thinking it would get better and it dragged on. I have watched all of the Mandalorian and Asoka series and enjoyed it immensely and looking forward to seeing more Star Wars series but not Acolyte. I read Disney might not renew Acolyte do to some reviews. I know die hard Star Wars fan might differer from my review. It just wasn't engaging with Acolyte. I do welcome your thoughts but be kind lol...
