This film is unique and thus hard to define. Obviously whoever categorized it as a thriller has not seen it but misinterpreted some synopsis. It is the future, but there are absolutely no expensive SFX, robots, space ships or explosions.
It is beautifully shot, a Utopia of sorts with the inevitable caveat: a dramatic shift in the social norm - which I will not give away here. It is a prescient fable about life, death and the planet. A smart, subtle and original fusion between satire and drama. It has great performances with humanity and humour. It is a thought provoking, post-post apocalyptic tear jerker.
