To those people giving it 1 star they've clearly not watched the original movie because it was just fantastic. They captured everything from the original to this remake and i loved it. I felt like my 8 year old self watching this again. The soundtrack is definitely one of the best ones I've heard and I absolutely love the fact that they did not change it. It was so good i think i cried a little. Yes. It is predictable. The outcast kid does make friends with the dragon. Yes it's like those 2000s movies because IT WAS MADE DURING THAT TIME BASED OFF OF A BOOK DURING THE SAME ERA. For everyone who's a fan of httyd franchise it was definitely such a refreshing experience and those giving it 1 or 2 stars have clearly missed out on a franchise this amazing big time. To everyone planning on watching it, highly recommend. It is not a as disappointing as Disney's remakes for sure.
