I've never written a movie review before. But here we go. Before ever watching DEH I loved the song "You Will be Found" know every word. It's a beautiful uplifting song. Then... I watched DEH. The entire movie is based on a lie. A depressed and withdrawn teen (Even) thinking suicidal thoughts himself, lies to a grieving family about being friends with their Son (Conner) , who just committed suicide. Even then begin a friendship/ relationship with Conner's sister in her grieving state. So all the uplifting songs, the plot of raising suicide awareness are now cheepened because it didn't come from a true place. Evan wasn't trying to do better, or even care about Conner at all. It came from a lie and a video that went viral. Yeah yeah I know Even comes clean at the end but it was to late. The damage To the grieving family was already done! If I could give this overall story 0 stars I would.
