I cried . Says it all ..A tremendous climax to the film with lovely music and the poignancy of young men going to war thinking it might be a picnic but really knowing it won't be .. purgatory to be precise . Ralph Fiennes gives a very sensitive restrained performance and we see the world through his eyes but elevated to a sublime heaven of great choral music .

Couldn't wait for it to be over . Gratuitous gore and the hackneyed doll theme . Cage was something else ..and repeating the same motif over and over which got predictable and boring . Not my thing !,

I loved it ! Underlying this black comedy was comment implied about the condition of women's status in society at the time and the bigotry against anyone they considered beneath them if they didn't fit in . And the Police . Great actors 👏 such awful scatalogical words spoken and written but you couldn't take offence . It is central to a true story .

Very reminiscent of another film ..but I can't say what as it would be a spoiler . Darkly satanic and hints and clues to the true nature of the beast throughout .

This film has a deep emotional and intellectual clout . Want to understand how others exploit your innocence and gullibility but also your love of money and advantage ...then this film has lessons for you . Great performances from Leonardo di Caprio and Robert de Nero . The director isn't afraid to slow the film for the actors to show their inner lives, their reflections and conflicts , especially dicaprio's character . Definitely worth your time . And a reveal on America 's history regarding the theft of the native Americans rights homes land , lives and culture

Well directed and great location . However typical formulaic Christie plot and means of murder . Pity Ariadne Oliver had to be so underhand . The TV version ie Zoe Wannamaker would never lower herself ! Maybe why this one wasn't done on TV . But a good enough watch ! Brannagh does a good Poirot .

How on earth do they make these films ! ?Action throughout but the first part of the film they had Indy looking so youthful ..how did they do that ? Made me think how can we trust film ever again ( an aside...Joe Biden needs this treatment !) But it was rollicking fun and if you love this series of films and heroes then you won't be disappointed.

A fast paced fact filled film that was hard work to follow but well worth your time . A timeous film for our unstable times where nuclear war has re emerged as an existential threat . Good casting in all roles . Calling Murphy probably gives a more sympathetic performance than the man deserves but the film is not preachy and leaves it up to you to determine his culpability for becoming Death of the world! Inevitable so it seems ! A big budget film clearly matching its importance !

I didn't much enjoy it ...despite good cast. Miserable and not much of a plot so to speak . As compared to Living which was uplifting and an interesting this film it presented old age as a grim prospect . OK we can touch others lives positively on our journey through life but this film was a bit wearisome to follow . Maybe useful as a warning !
