Mario Kart World is a sorry excuse for a Mario Kart game. The game no longer feels remotely like Mario kart, offering poorly designed straight tracks, and controls that feel like you are driving a boat instead of a kart~ even on 150cc. The drifting is mechanically terrible compared to the last several games. At the end of the day regardless of how you like the mechanics, the game is 80$ for less courses than MK8. People will use the open world as an excuse, however the open world feels empty and un-alive. Save your money.
