Whatever potential this movie had it was blindsided by colorism, beautiful black girl with a color complex and then throwing the creole word around, first off we don’t talk like that in New Orleans, it started off with a homeless dude talking like a old share cropper, not a fan. For a movie with black people, it depicts blacks in a stereotypical way. I also don’t think who ever wrote the script or directed it, never lived in New Orleans in their life. And the Texas remark about Mexicans unrealistic because Texas is majority Mexican culture

I enjoyed this movie, contrary to what people said about it before I watched it.
