So many great actors and such a horrible movie...Famke Janssen's botched plastic surgery made it hard to watch her scenes and sometimes hard to understand her. John Travolta's terrible fake accent was nowhere near Texan and mostly unintelligible. His wig had more emotion. Morgan Freeman and Robert Patrick were completely wasted in this film, sadly. And what's with the music that sounded like 90's pop when the movie is set in 1978? The best thing I can say about this movie is Brendan Fraser...his over the top affected lunatic doctor was outstanding. But then, he always gives 100%. He's the ONLY reason I'm giving this movie one star.
On a side note, I was mildly happy with Ella Bleu Travolta's performance. I wish there'd been more and I hope she keeps progressing.
