I had high hopes for The Acolyte, but it fell flat in almost every aspect. The plot is convoluted and hard to follow, leaving me more confused than intrigued. The pacing drags, with long stretches of dialogue that feel unnecessary and don’t advance the story. Character development is lacking; I found it difficult to connect with anyone on screen. The performances were underwhelming, failing to convey the depth and complexity the characters seemed to demand. Overall, The Acolyte had potential but squandered it on a muddled narrative and unengaging execution. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a compelling story
