Days Gone is the best game I’ve played in the last 10 years. It has something most games don’t these days, heart and soul. Playing through it again recently only makes me appreciate what it did even more. In a sea of woke, corporate mediocrity, Days Gone helped me remember why I love video games in the first place. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with these characters in the Oregon wilderness and was sad when it was over. If you are a fan of the zombie survival horror genre, Days Gone is hands down the best over the last 10 years. In conclusion, Days Gone is an outstanding original intellectual property deserving of a sequel.
