The message is clear and heartbreaking, but everything else seemed to be politically motivated and far left leaning. Not to mention, most of the people 'reviewing' the movie are openly celebrating and encouraging violence against police officers, as if it will change anything. That is VERY disturbing, especially when coming from adults. This move does nothing, except further encourage violence. There is enough violence and every 'peaceful' BLM 'protest' (violent riot) destroys communities and injures innocents. I thought protesting racial injustice was to show you are better than the way you are being treated? Being black is not a crime, but looting, murdering people and encouraging others to murder people IS! You people need to grow up and stop allowing politicians to wrap you around their finger, so they can get re-elected and push their agendas. Do your own research into issues and stop allowing the media to think for you. This is troubling, that this needs to be said, especially in the information age. This is a horrible movie, that simply uses black emotion to fill their pockets. If you can not see that.... You need a reality check, ASAP!

Simply a happy movie. If you want your spirits lifted, look no further. Take a load off and stop over-thinking!

You have the few hater reviews at the bottom, but that is due to them being born in 2008 and never experiencing a childhood like those, that were raised watching Ernest, Hocus Pocus and of course, the Disney channel movies... When they were AWESOME! Who remembers turning to the Disney channel, simply to see how long until Halloween/Christmas? Watch this. You will not regret it.

If you are a 90's kid, this will bring back the good days, where imagination, adventure, happiness and the outdoors was encouraged.

If you are not bright, than you will not like this film. The 'critics' before me, stated it was poorly written and not to up to par, but they are obviously of low caliber. It is a wonderful film and keeps you on the edge, until the end. Again, it is a intellectual movie, so if you are into films, that spell everything out for you, than prefer to watch something 'simple'.

Do not listen to any of these wannabe critics. They believe, whole books should be fit into few hour flicks and OR several books into a presumably short t.v. series. It is a GREAT start and has a GREAT cast. Not to mention, the obvious high budget. If you have not read the books, but you watched the movie... You will love this! It is something a-lot of us have been waiting for!
