I loved The Little Mermaid as a kid and would watch it over and over again. This movie portrayed the nostalgia and enchantment of the Disney Princesses beautifully. The siren voice that Halle Bailey has fits this role and makes her the perfect Ariel. Her playfulness that she brought to the role was the extra leap of Disney making a great live action film.
I walked out of the theater already wanting to watch it again! I can't wait until it's available for purchase. It is 100% going to be my new comfort movie.
