Reminds me a bit of why people disliked the new Star Wars, we grew up with Luke being the great hero and then they destroyed a character that people loved for years for no reason. I like the premise of a more adult themed scooby do but wish they wouldn’t change so much about characters people have enjoyed for 40+ years
