Margaret Boddy

I opted to read this because of enjoying all Zadie Smith's previous novels and her writing style. I ploughed on for a third of the novel before giving up. I found it confusing , impenetrable and very heavy going with the shift between times and characters and lack of clarity about where any of it was heading .
