This movie had the potential for greatness but the two mega stars fell flat in my opinion. Redford provided a very uninspired performance and Mia was a bit over the top with hers. The real stars here were Sam Waterston, Bruce Dern and Karen Black. It does the book justice for a period piece but I was disappointed with the main characters.
