As the movie progressed, I found myself becoming more and more spiteful towards Adam Sandler. However, once Sandler saw his final moments with his father and began to see his faults, I realized how truly genius this movie is. At the end, I really had myself considering what I would've done if I had been in that situation. The conclusion was masterfully crafted. The significance of Sandler's second chance is reinforced by the mistakes he realized that he made. I feel like we can all agree that we've experienced something thematically similar in the past. An eye-opening and deeply introspective movie all around. I'm gay.
