This show is awful. In 2025, gay men should no longer be calling each other “girl” or referring to each other in the feminine. We only do that derisively, and shame on these so-called “gay icons” for continuing to promote subtle misogyny in the gay male community. Also, the characters make no sense. Matt Bomer isn’t old enough to be a contemporary of the main cast members and certainly too old to be playing a gay himbo. His character is also formerly straight and has an ex-wife and child. How could he have had an opportunity to become some flighty, good-hair-obsessed, pretty boy? The humor and the episode plots are derivative and only promote decades-old clichés which aren’t amusing to its target audience. These stereotypes and stock gay characters are unimaginative and actually insulting. Wake up gays!
