A fairly predictable movie that makes you scream things like "stick to basic protocol, you morons' and "How could simpletons like this ever be sent into space?!' The lack of realism in regards to actual quarantine protocols is what makes this movie an astronaut training video in the 'everything that will make sure you won't be sent into space,ever' section of page 1 of the training. Most characters are cardboard cutouts. we don't really get to know the crew and the viewer never gets sympathetic to them when they inevitably get picked off by the cute, yet indestructible space squid. Strap yourself in, forget that you have a brain that questions the logic behind every move, and give it a chance on a day where you are quarantined and have nothing, and i do mean absolutely nothing better to do. 2/5
