Highly recommend ! First and foremost it’s about characters Sophie who is 38 & Liam who is 40! I love when characters feel relatable . Lol !!! It follows Sophie a recently separated therapist who escapes to the jersey shore to run away from her life in Pennsylvania after walking in on her husband sleeping with another woman! She arrives at the jersey shore and meet Liam, her neighbor who is a recent single dad, it by choice, and haunted by tragedy. Can Sophie learn how to trust again and is Liam finally ready to allow himself to open up? There is a lot on the line. The book is about learning how to trust yourself and others again and opening yourself up, to feel worthy of love.
