It was good in some ways and in others well, you see my rating that should tell you all you need to know and if they do a part 3 please hold on exceptionally, extremely lonnng musical numbers it's been overrated since pitch perfect and stale one musical number was so long I was ready to just turn the movie off towards the end of the movie, I felt it dragged out to long and I started to loose interest in the movie all together and the deaths were not well thought out. It wasn't the same without the matelands, it felt like something was missing but I did feel a sense of deja vu when Lydia's daughter was riding through the town on her bicycle and you got to see the town that was awesome that being said there are some things in the film I felt was not appropriate for children although this is a dark film, there are somethings that are darker in this film and I feel it should have had a different rating like under 17 adult required. That being said I loved Jenna Ortega she matched her mother's darkness of the first film and excelled on it I was disappointed at how weak Lydia had become after everything she went through in the first film she went from a firecracker to a whinny crybaby and I kept waiting to see that old Lydia to show herself and it never happened. I loved how you saw more of the other side in this film. I was hoping they would end it in a way where there could be a part 3 but the way it ended there is no way. I loved seeing Micheal Keaton as Beetlejuice again he was definitely perfect in his role that much stayed the same at least thank you for that
