Great movie, and im hoping it was worse than they showed in movie, cause it’s annoying that they sent a helicopter to recue these guys and did not bring one tool knowing a pilot was stuck in a plane. No prybar? No long pipe? A car jack? Had to have that around. There was a base with jeeps. Not one damn jack? I wasnt there, but if all they needed was a car jack to save this great man, I would die of regret. Great story, but its shame not one man thought to throw a jack in the copter, and they make a movie showing how they failed to use any cell in their brains, they sent a rescue helicopter knowing a guy was pinned in his plane, and did not put one useful tool to maybe get him out. Did they really not have any tools in a recue helicopter back then? I hate being guy thinks he knows it all in hindsight. But It makes no sense during a war that they never learned anything from the hundreds of plane crashes, to have some tools for certain crashes. Wrote this because it made me crazy they let this guy die for nothing.
