I was extremely disappointed with this movie and, unfortunately, cannot rate it even a single star. I attended the film primarily to pass the time and to see how the remake was handled by the same director who made the original, which featured Prithviraj. However, Shahid's performance was underwhelming and lacked any real depth, leaving the movie lifeless. As someone from Kerala and a fan of the original, I can confidently say that the Malayalam version was far superior. I strongly feel Bollywood should reconsider remaking Malayalam films, especially when the result fails to capture the essence of the original. I ended up walking out during the interval, as the movie did not live up to expectations in any way.
