Rema did something that needed to be done in the afrobeats space, a revival. The production on this album reminds me of Kanye west's (Yeezus), Travis Scott's utopia, something like a mike dean production. I love the infusion of contemporary sounds with African sounds. The sounds, the drums, and the rhythm come together to produce this sonic sound. The transition from one track to another keeps you wanting more. I also enjoyed the songwriting on this project, on this album you get to dance and enjoy deep lyricism which is something common in African music. I am not surprised this album got a grammy nomination. My favourite tracks are Azaman, HEIS (track), and Ozeba. I feel this album will serve as an inspiration to african albums in the future. I hope if you see this review, you listen to the album and enjoy.
