One of my favourite movies if not my favourite because I could watch it again and again and not feel the same intensity of the plot. Tom Cruise is really amazing as Daniel Kaffee, a brilliant lawyer who excels at settling cases albeit all through plea bargains in his career so far. He is assigned a case from divisional HQ about a possible murder of a young private who has died under mysterious circumstances after some comrades punish him in a typical military style beating common at army training barracks. The court room scenes are phenomenal and the way the plot unravels as to what really happened through the court room examination is what this movie is about! The end scene with Jack Nicholson is a masterpiece!
