Triggêr Happy

Definitely a weird one… But if you’ve experienced a romantic relationship with someone that shares traits of our main character in this film, I can guarantee you’ll feel something watching this movie. The first like 20 minutes of the film is essentially convincing the audience that you’re watching 2 relatively convincing ppl in their nature habit without the fake mask of acting “normal”. This movie gets pretty weird but strangely relatable at times. I don’t know how to explain the feeling I got as the movie ended but I got the impression that I obtained a significant amount of insightful information about the main character that wasn’t necessarily explained. (A little difficult to explain but it was a feeling I don’t feel like you can convey through words because it’s specific to me) I feel It’s appropriate to mention the amount of nudity in the film because I feel it could be jarring to many viewers but, it seems to serve a narrative purpose, also Jennifer L. Body is so Tea af, lol. To add on, I believe this movie was beautifully written, and I found myself holding in laughs from the dialogue at parts of the movie, but the humor for the most part is disgusted as creative choices in direction, or interestingly real feeling arguments. (I’m almost certain their is a Milky way joke in there somewhere, iykyk) I wouldn’t necessarily be able to recommend this movie because of the reasons I liked it is inarticulable, but I enjoyed the experience, probably would have hit significantly harder on drugs tho ngl.
