One of the best shows on tv ! Contestants from lots of different ethnic backgrounds all cooking their hearts out for different reasons. The experienced judges give great encouragement & fair criticism at all times. I like Greg & John because unlike many other judges in similar shows, they don't grandstand & try & make the show about themselves - its all about the love of good food & its preparation. Watching the cooks develop their skills & then working in various high-end establishments under pressure adds another dimension to the show. I just watched the 2019 finals which was wonderful - 3 ladies from very diverse backgrounds turning out delicious & innovative dishes. Although competing against each other, you could see that warm a comradery had developed between them making for a feel-good show. Reality TV how it should be !
