I loved the books but I was so disappointed with the film. I just couldn’t get past pierce brosnan playing Ron. He was nothing like him, the guy who played Tony Curran would have been perfect. I think a lot of the casting was bad and so many bits in the film were different to the book. I ended up turning it off. Such a shame
