The 2025 'How to Train Your Dragon' live action remake is a faithful adaptation of the original. As someone who grew up on the entire DreamWorks Dragons franchise, I couldn't have been more excited for (but also sceptical of) the remake. Unlike Disney's disasters, however, 'How to Train Your Dragon' blew my mind. Returning director Dean DeBlois has done a fantastic job with creating something new, while staying true to the storyline, heart, and aspects of the original films we all love. The acting by Mason Thames, Nico Parker, Gererd Butler, and the others was seamless, and the animation of the dragons was exceptionally done to make them realistic while maintaining their charm. There were a few subtle changes, but for the most part 'How to Train Your Dragon' remains faithful to its animated predecessor. John Powell returned to do the soundtrack, and the reprised sweeping score was extraordinary. Loved every moment of the movie and would go see it again in a heartbeat.
