Being this is my first time seeing a remake on the big screen, for a while as I sat watching the movie, I didn't know what to think of it; being I'm so used to the original. Now I do know! Steven Spielberg is my all time favorite director! I've grown up with many of his films. With no question, concern, issue or doubt, I shall grow old with this one! This new version of WEST SIDE STORY is, without a doubt, a brilliant comeback to musicals on the big screen. With a brilliant cast, spectacular shots and everything, this film deserves all the Oscars it can get; starting with Best Director! Thank you so much, Mr. Spielberg! You've done it again!
